內(nèi)容摘要：
Abstract: In this talk, we motivate a unified theory beyond the SU(5) Georgi-Glashow theory. Historically, this was proposed to unify three-genrational SM fermions where they transform differently. We found the minimal model should be an SU(8) group, and there can be emergent global symmetries from the fermion sector. We describe the global non-anomalous U(1) B-L symmetry in this setup, and obtain several constraints to the Higgs sector and the sterile neutrinos.

陳寧，2002-2006 中國(guó)科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)近代物理系，本科。2006 - 2011 Stony Brook University, 博士。2011-2014 清華大學(xué)，博士后。2014-2017 中國(guó)科學(xué)技術(shù)大學(xué)近代物理系，特任副研究員。2017-2018 北京科技大學(xué)，講師。2018 至今，南開(kāi)大學(xué)，副教授。陳寧主要從事粒子物理理論和唯象學(xué)研究，包括超出標(biāo)準(zhǔn)模型的新物理研究、大統(tǒng)一理論研究等，目前發(fā)表高水平學(xué)術(shù)論文40余篇。
